Earthstores Acceptable Use Policy

Earthstores' services are intended to facilitate and support legitimate and legal e-commerce activity for legitimate and legal business entities and their customers. Use of its systems or services in an abusive or inappropriate manner is strictly prohibited. In general, abusive activities are those which Harass others, Engage in, promote, or enable illegal or fraudulent activity, Violate de facto standards of Internet etiquette, and/or Cause damage or loss to computer systems, services, or files.

Earthstores may terminate service immediately without refund if any client engages in system abuse. Earthstores may also bill for any costs or damages incurred as a result of the system abuse. The owner of each account is responsible for all actions performed using that account. Earthstores reserves the right to determine what constitutes System Abuse and reserves the right to change and amend its policies at any time. Any questions or reports of possible system abuse or misuse of Earthstores' systems should be sent by e-mail to abuse@earthstores.com. Ideally, reports of abuse should include full header information (in the case of e-mail abuse) and complete activity logs if possible to assist verification.

Actions which constitute system abuse include, but are not limited to:

Systems : Attempting to circumvent user authentication or security of any host, network, or account on Earthstores' systems or the Internet at large ("cracking"); Attempting, in any way, to interfere with or deny service to any user or any host on the Internet.

E-mail: Forging e-mail header information; Sending large numbers of unsolicited mail messages (a.k.a. "junk mail", "bulk email", "spam"); Sending large numbers of mail messages in order to disrupt mail service (i.e. "mail bombs"); Forwarding or posting "chain letters" of any type; Attempting to block, redirect, read, or otherwise interfere with email other than one's own

Other : The sale and/or distribution of pirated software, copyrighted materials (without permission), pornographic, obscene, or otherwise distasteful materials (as determined by Earthstores); Engaging in harassment, whether through language, frequency, or size of messages; Using an account at another provider to promote any Earthstores related site in an abusive manner; Using an Earthstores account to aid or abet system abuse occurring through other accounts, whether with Earthstores or with another access provider.
